The Walk for the Babies is a fundraising walkathon for Pediatric Interim Care Center, the only facility providing transitional care for drug-exposed infants in Washington State.
We are grateful to Kent Station Shopping Center for hosting the walk again this year. The walkathon will start with t-shirt pick-up, face painting, and on-site registration at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, October 5, and the walk will begin at 10:30 a.m. on the Kent Station plaza. Our family-friendly 2.8K route will follow 4th Avenue, passing PICC, and then loop around downtown Kent to finish back at Kent Station. When walkers return, Duke's Seafood will dish up their famous clam chowder and we will award prizes. Participants who cannot attend the event are welcome to walk with family or teammates with a route and time of their own choosing.
There’s fun, fitness, and prizes ahead, so let’s Walk for the Babies! Best of all, you’ll be giving drug-exposed infants the care they need to fully recover and thrive.
